Kaitlyn Thomas is a data specialist with the O’Connor Center for the Rocky Mountain West at the University of Montana. Kaitlyn’s work primarily focuses on using the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Lotic Assessment Inventory and Monitoring (AIM) Program data and providing field data collection support. Her recent project goals have included leveraging Lotic AIM data with wildfire occurrence data to provide novel use cases for AIM data and to help inform BLM land managers of post fire stream conditions. When she is not in the office or the field Kaitlyn can be found hiking and camping, rockhounding, or crafting.
