- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
My name is Eryl, I'm a PhD student at Texas State University working on a degree in Aquatic Resource Management and Integrative Biology. My undergraduate degree is in Aquatic Biology and I've spent my whole life appreciating and exploring the beautiful streams of the Texas Hill Country. I have a background in hyporheic and groundwater ecology with a focus on invertebrate communities. My dissertation will be looking at hyporheic microbial communities and their interactions with stream metabolism and local environmental conditions.
When I'm not working I like spending time with my cats, drawing, fishkeeping, and swimming in the beautiful San Marcos River! :)
