- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Steven Pestana (he/him) develops and applies methods to quantify the distribution and movement of water in the landscape. He’s particularly interested in improving our understanding of hydrologic processes, their interconnections with a changing climate and human impacts, and how we can apply that understanding to adapt to those changes. His work has included leveraging machine-learning methods and remote sensing of forests, snow, and rivers. Steven also values teaching and science communication, both in the classroom and outdoors.
